Polymer clay unicorn tutorial: Sculpting the little Unicorn’s body

Roll the sausage out of white polymer clay and flatten it around the edges of the mug, slightly stretching the neck. Excess on the neck can be cut off with a knife.

We roll the ball. After we press the ball down a little. Pull the part a little and press it to the mug along the edges. Hooking to the neck.

Make a long indentation on the nose with a needle (for the mouth). From black polymer clay, we make a very thin and very small sausage in the shape of an arc and press it down in the middle of the face (it will be an eye). On the right side, we make thin eyelashes.

We do the same with the tail. After everything is laid, we make dents on the mane and tail with a needle, imitating the hair of an animal.

For the horn. We cut out a high triangle from the golden color and apply it to the mane.

We make the ear triangular at the location of the ears.

We roll sausages made of white polymer clay for the legs. Make a more rounded part on top for the back leg. For the front ones, we roll the sausages, give them a slightly triangular shape, and apply them to the body. Smooth the edges of the legs on the body with a needle. It is possible to use napkins.

We make hooves with golden polymer clay. We make a rectangular segment, apply it to the edge of the leg, cut off the excess, press it.

Remember that white clay is very easily soiled. Use wipes to clean the clay.

 We sculpt clouds of white polymer clay, tint them with blue dry pastels.

After sculpting the decor, bake the decor together with a mug, cover it with polymer clay varnish. We remove the decor and glue it on with epoxy glue.
