Photo tutorial on decorating a teaspoon with polymer clay. Sculpt cookies with beautiful flowers
In this photo tutorial on polymer clay modeling we will sculpt cookies with beautiful flowers. There is a detail information on our website page about how to make cookies: POLYMER CLAY FOOD IDEAS & TUTORIAL. And here it is shown in detail how to fix and exactly how to decorate the spoon with polymer clay.
1-3. We mix white and green clay for a pastel tone and roll it into a thick layer. Cover with cling film and cut out 2 circles.

4-5. We loosen the edge using a needle, making a “skirt” for our cake. We put both parts for preliminary baking.
6. We take white clay, roll the ball and flatten it – this will be the cream inside the cake. We glue the filling to one of the halves using liquid plastics.
7. Then we try on a spoon and cut out the excess along the contour.
8. Insert the spoon and cover with a thin piece of white clay.
9-10. We grease the filling with liquid plastics and cover with the second half, press it tightly, glue the parts hardly.
11-17. We make 2 flowers and 2 buds from white clay. We form a droplet from green clay, flatten it and make veins with a blade. The photo shows the process of sculpting flowers, buds and a leaf in detail. More detailed lessons on modeling flowers and leaves are on our website here.
18-19. Put liquid plastic on a spoon with a cake and lay out the leaves and flowers as your imagination suggests.
20 We put it to the oven for final baking (the time and temperature depends on the clay you use for décor modeling).

1-2 We take polymer clay of the needed color. Roll the ball and use a cupcake-shaped mold to make a mold. We make a hole for the spoon. We apply a spoon and cut out the excess with a knife. Put the cupcake on a spoon. We flatten it. Then put to bake for 20-30 minutes in the oven at 120-130 degrees (265 degrees Fahrenheit – Polymer clay Cernit).
3 After baking, make the top of the cake. Take sand-colored polymer clay and apply it to the base of the cake. Press down on the polymer clay with a stiff brush to give it the texture of the dough.
4 Use dry pastels for more realism. In great detail, see this cookie sculpting tutorial.
5-6 With the help of a star extruder, we create the glaze and place it in the shape of a spiral.
The inside of the cake can be empty for less clay consumption.
7-8 Making the liquid glaze. Polymer clay of any color + Fimo gel. The ratio is 50/50. Using a needle, we apply it to the top of the cupcake and make smudges with a needle.
It is possible to make any jewelry.
We roll the balls and use the Fimo gel to attach them to the glaze.
Stars or hearts can be made onto the top of the cake using plungers.
Bake again for 20-30 minutes at 265 degrees Fahrenheit.
After baking, cover the places where dry pastel was used with a matte or glossy varnish. So that when it is used, it does not wear off.
