The basic process is shown in this video. A template is being made (printed or drawn). On the reverse side, the butterfly template is sealed with wide tape. This is made to prevent the template from sticking to the polymer clay. Try to stick the tape as smoothly as possible, without folds. We cut a butterfly out of transparent polymer clay (this is the clay made according to the recipe on the site), according to our template, and by using any sharp stack. We make a thin edge. We tint with pearl pink and blue pigments. Let it dry (this clay dries on its own in the air). We mix a red gold pigment and a special varnish for polymer clay (acrylic varnish for any type of clay by any manufacturer). And draw veins on the butterfly and outline the edges. Let it dry very well. We cover the butterfly on both sides with UV resin, fix the resin with a UV lamp for a manicure, whatever you have. The time is indicated on the resin packaging, depending on the type of lamp. We attach the butterfly to the hairpin with UV resin. For the butterfly to stick well to the hairpin, make 2-3 layers of resin, fixing each layer with a lamp.

Then the master attached the antennae to the butterfly. The antennae are made of thin copper wire and are fixed with UV resin. Afterward, the body of the butterfly is covered with a layer of UV resin and sprinkled with microbeads. Fixed with a lamp. You can make a few layers like that.
